Postgraduate Taught Scholarships
Vikram Reddy Memorial Scholarship
The Vikram Reddy Memorial Scholarship offers £1,000 to support one postgraduate student from the United Kingdom through a one year full time Master of Laws (taught or research) programme (LLM) at the University of Aberdeen, starting in September 2018.

University of Aberdeen Law School Energy and Environmental Law Scholarship
There is one University of Aberdeen Law School Energy and Environmental Law Scholarship available. The scholarship offers £3,000 towards full time Home, RUK or International tuition fees for one year full tim of LLM Energy & Environmental Law with Professional Skills programme at the University of Aberdeen, starting in September 2018.
The Robert and Elizabeth Mitchell Law Scholarship will support one postgraduate student from the United Kingdom through a one year full time Master of Laws programme (LLM) at the University of Aberdeen, starting in September 2018. This will cover Home or RUK tuition fees up to the value of £7,800.

Law School LLM Merit Scholarships
The Law School Merit Scholarship offers £6,300 to support one postgraduate student from any country through a one year full time Master of Laws (taught) programme at the University of Aberdeen, starting in September 2018.

The David Carey Miller Scholarship
The David Carey Miller Scholarship has been established in memory of Professor David Carey Miller, a former head of the School of Law and one of the founding fathers of the Aberdeen Summer Program, established in 1986. The scholarship will support a one-year taught LLM Masters degree at the University of Aberdeen. The scholarship is open to students from the USA, and includes academic fees, travel and accommodation costs. Applications will be reviewed by a panel from the School of Law and the scholarship will be awarded on academic merit.

SFC Postgraduate Tuition Fees Scholarships
Postgraduate full tuition fee scholarships for Scottish/Non-UK EU applicants looking to study one of the following Masters programmes (below) for September 2018/19 entry.
To be considered for funding simply apply to one of the below programmes in the standard way by June 30th 2018.
As long as you are made an offer you will automatically be considered for a funding award. If you are nominated for an award, you will receive confirmation of this via email.

The James Carnegie Scholarship
The James Carnegie Scholarship will provide £2,000 per annum towards the students' maintenance costs for the duration of the postgraduate degree course, whether that is a one year Masters, PhD (3 years) or Master by Research leading to a PhD (4 years). is open to applicants holding an offer of admission for any campus-based one year, full-time postgraduate degree programme starting in September 2018 in one of the following Schools: School of Divinity, History & Philosophy; Education; Language, Literature, Music & Visual Culture; or Law.
Applicants must be classified by the University as Home/EU, RUK or Overseas for tuition fee purposes.

The John Reid Trust Scholarship
The Trust exists to assist distinguished Aberdeen University graduates, preferably with Honours in an Arts subject, to continue their studies at any institution outside Scotland. Preference will be given to students graduating with a degree in an Arts subject but Science graduates should still apply.,

Postgraduate Research Scholarships
The School of Law PhD Merit Scholarship covers full fees for one full time Home/EU or overseas PhD student starting on-campus study in September 2018. In addition the scholarships offers a yearly stipend of £10,000 per year over three years of study. The primary basis for this award will be academic merit.
Candidates must have applied for and have received an offer of study for a place on a full time on-campus PhD in Law starting in September 2018.
Applicants must submit a complete PhD application through the University Postgraduate Applicant Portal and provide, in their personal statement, a request to be considered for this award in no more than 500 words and explaining why they should be awarded the scholarship. The primary basis for the award will be academic merit.
