Important Information – Changes to the UOA Rewards Benefits Scheme on 29/04/2025
The University is currently changing providers for both its Employee Benefits and Employee Assistance Programme. A new Employee Benefits platform and Employee Assistance Programme will be available to sign up to from 1 May 2025, however we understand that if you are currently using one of the schemes or have done so in the past, there may be some questions that you have. An FAQ document has been produced to address some of these and is available here, alternatively you can contact reward@abdn.ac.uk.
The partnership between UOA and Pluxee (formally Sodexo) will end on 29 April 2025. If you are registered with UOA Rewards (www.uoarewards.co.uk) and have been using the retail discounts and other benefits available through the platform, please review the FAQs for important next steps. To ensure a smooth transition, please complete any necessary actions before this date.
If you are currently undertaking counselling sessions through Care First, these will continue until the end of your allocated sessions. Access to the programme will continue until 29 April.
When the change to new providers happens at the end of April, an email with information around how to access the new services including the online platform will be communicated. We will also notify you of the data that we will share with the external provider in order that they can verify you as a user on the new platform, you are entitled to opt out of this.
