Three donation terminals have been successfully installed at the University of Aberdeen’s Sir Duncan Rice Library, Zoology Museum, and the Chapel. This milestone reflects a strong cross-team collaboration between Development & Alumni Relations, Estates, Finance, DIS, and the Chapel. The terminals offer a convenient way for visitors to support vital activities:
- Library: Enhancing student resources and learning spaces
- Museum: Supporting exhibitions and conservation
- Chapel: Sustaining music, reflection, and community programmes
“This project shows what’s possible when teams come together with a shared purpose,” said Clare Livingston, Interim Director of Advancement. Huge thanks to all the teams involved for their commitment and teamwork in bringing this to life.”
Having donation terminals on campus offers a visible, accessible, and immediate way for visitors, staff, and students to contribute to areas they care about. These terminals help capture spontaneous generosity from key locations, turning everyday visits into opportunities for impact. Their presence reinforces a culture of philanthropy and visibly connects giving to tangible outcomes across the University.
