It has been a tough competition and so we'd also like to acknowledge two very close runners up:

1st runner up – Steven Sangster - View Steven's poster
2nd runner up – Megan Buchanan - MyAberdeen: Piloting an Institutional Course Template

The Digital Accessibility Award was selected by a judging panel consisting of last year’s winner of the award and eLearning Support Assistants working within the Centre for Academic Development, who have received extensive training in digital accessibility to deliver the Course Accessibility Service.

The posters were judged on adherence to digital accessibility standards including:

  • Legibility and clarity of the way information is presented.
  • Logic of the reading order, including when using assistive technologies.
  • Sufficiency of the colour contrast between text and background.
  • Availability of text alternatives for visual content.
  • Use of a variety of methods to convey information.
