Dear colleagues,
As we begin a pivotal period in the run-up to a new academic year, we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the monumental effort across the University following the Scottish exam results and next week’s A-Level results.
Clearing is one of the most important periods in the university calendar, and once again, our community has come together with energy, professionalism and care to support prospective students and ensure a smooth experience.
The collaboration across professional services and academic teams has been truly inspiring and is a testament to the strength and spirit of our University.
As of 5 August, our Undergraduate Home acceptances to standard degrees were up by 10%, setting a solid foundation for another strong year of welcoming UG Home students. This early indicator reflects the strength of our collective efforts and the appeal of our offer to prospective students.
We will share a fuller update on the forthcoming intake, mid-to-late September, once registration is near completion and the final picture becomes clearer.
