The Central Festival and Events team works within the University of Aberdeen’s Public Affairs, Stakeholder Engagement and Events team (PASE), based within the Directorate of External Relations.
The team are responsible for organising high-profile events such as festivals, conferences, talks, performances and exhibitions, and is also experienced in planning and delivering a range of virtual events including Podcasts.
The main focus of the team is delivering festivals and events that support the profile of, and engage with the five interdisciplinary challenges, set out in the University of Aberdeen 2040 Strategy
The Central Festival and Events team are also here to advise and support colleagues with all aspects of event planning from budgeting and delivery to marketing and evaluation.
How We Can Help
Please contact the Central Festival and Events team if you require any help or advice with an event you are planning. We can help with the following:
- Offer general advice and support for event planning & delivery
- Check that your planned event doesn’t clash with other events/activities taking place
- Offer advice on budgeting and direct you towards potential event funding
- Offer advice on how to promote and evaluate your event
