Following this morning's power loss in our second data centre at Garthdee, all services have now been reinstated and should be operating normally.

It may be necessary to restart your laptop in order to access previously affected platforms, however anyone still experiencing issues after that should report these via https://myit.abdn.ac.uk or email servicedesk@abdn.ac.uk.

Specialist engineers from the maintenance company and manufacturer are continuing to investigate the cause of the fault, which may require further work to be carried out. We will work with our partners to manage the timing to minimise further disruption.

I’d like to thank the engineering team for their rapid response, and colleagues across the University for their patience during this disruption.
