Dear colleague,
I am delighted to announce the launch of the Directorate of Global Engagement, Marketing and Recruitment. As a newly structured team, we will remain focused on driving forward our student recruitment efforts (domestic and international), while developing and expanding our global partnerships (including Transnational Education), and further strengthening our corporate marketing image and reputation on a global scale through new plans.
The directorate will collaborate closely with staff across the entire University and external stakeholders and partners to achieve the ambitious goals set by the University and is structured into three key areas.
- UK Recruitment, Access and Admissions: focus on maximising domestic recruitment, meeting SFC-funded place targets, and widening access. Alongside this, enhance the student applicant journey to make the University of Aberdeen a top choice for all prospective students.
- Global Partnerships and Recruitment: expanding our global engagement and diversifying our student population through robust international collaborations while sustaining our direct ‘on campus’ international recruitment.
- Marketing, Campaigns and Insights: delivering impactful marketing campaigns and in-market recruitment activities that raise our profile and reputation globally, showcasing our strengths in education, research, and societal impact.
