The North-East Scotland Ecology Network (NESEN) annual Science Day will take place on Tuesday 14th October 2025 at Scotland's Rural College (SRUC).
NESEN aims to promote the development and use of all types of ecological science, improve the sharing of information and help build collaborations between ecologists in the North-East of Scotland, particularly in Aberdeen and the wider Aberdeenshire area, and to promote the North-East of Scotland as a centre for ecological research within the UK. The NESEN annual Science Day is open to all. Your research work does not have to be based in the North-East – we’re interested in any ecological science irrespective of how or where it’s done.
Organisations involved in NESEN are:
- Scotland's Rural College (SRUC)
- University of Aberdeen
- James Hutton Institute
- Biomathematics and Statistics Scotland (BioSS)
- Joint Nature Conservation Committee (JNCC)
- NatureScot
- Scottish Government's Marine Directorate
NESEN Science Day is free and open to all, simply complete this form to register your attendance.
