Silverlink (ARU Fertility System Replacement)

The University uniquely provides reproductive services to the Grampian population, acting as a sub-contractor to the NHS. The aim of this project is to replace the exisitng in-house fertility data system which will not meet the new legislative requirements for reporting into the governing body HFEA (Human Fertilisation and Embriology Authority) taking effect on 1st October 2018 . The contract for the work was awared in 2017 to the supplier Silverlink who were, until recently, deemed not be delivering on aspects agreed during the tender process but have subsequently given assurances that they will be able to deliver such that the ARU can meet its HFEA reporting onbligations in October 2018. This project will aim to deliver the appropriate infrastructure (if not already in place), database build, data migration, testing, and HFEA reporting requirements as needed for October 2018.
