I’ve worked with the comms team on press releases for several projects, all of which have resulted in interviews for (inter)national TV, radio, newspaper, and online audiences.As a result, I’ve now also been invited for other media appearances as the expert on current affairs topics which are related to my research. The process of working with the comms team has been really enjoyable – they are very enthusiastic, and the press releases are very well prepared in a collaborative process. Robert has been great in coming up with catchy titles and clear messaging to attract wide media interest. The support he provided with coordinating interview requests was excellent. The comms team also liaised with the press offices of project partners and stakeholders. This ensured maximum media impact, but also fostered those valuable collaborations. Euan created a great video to accompany one of the press releases. In addition to attracting wider interest, this video ended up being very helpful to send along to stakeholders, who are now implementing research outcomes.
