The Library Service will be running a short series of Information Skills Workshops beginning in November 2015 designed to help Research Postgraduates understand the library resources available to them as researchers, and how to get the best out of them.
There are three workshops on offer, each lasting two hours.
Feedback from those who have previously attended these sessions has been positive and they highlight how after attending they felt better equipped to find and manage the materials they need for their research. Across the three workshops we will look at: planning your search; using academic databases efficiently to locate the literature you need for your research, and managing all the references of the literature you read with reference management software.
