MyCurriculum - Countdown to August Launch

MyCurriculum - Countdown to August Launch

We're delighted to announce that the 2015/16 curriculum build for MyCurriculum, the University's new online course selection system, is now complete.

Following a successful period of user testing conducted in the spring, the Student LifeCycle Project team are now working with schools to finalise quality checks and sign-offs.

Demonstrations of the MyCurriculum and MyTimetable systems to the Project Board and the OneSource Programme Board this week were very well received.

Selected staff have also been given the opportunity to experience how the online course selection system will work for students. The feedback from staff was great, with comments such as:

“I found the system very easy to navigate and the rule sets for our programmes were working just as I was expecting…”

“…the course selection process should be a big step forward for student experience.”

“…the interface looks really good and I think that students will be able to handle it.”

These comments reinforce the very positive feedback received from students during the User Acceptance Testing period, student comments included:

“I feel it would make a tremendous improvement to students’ university experience”

“Just what students at the University of Aberdeen need in the 21st Century”.

Subject to final system and performance testing, we are moving towards the last checks and preparation for launch in August.

Keep an eye out for further updates and launch dates throughout the summer.
