11am, King’s College Chapel, University of Aberdeen
I warmly invite you to attend this important commemorative occasion. On Founders’ Day we pay tribute to our historic origins as an ancient university and we light a candle to give thanks for the vision of Bishop Elphinstone and our patron fathers. Please make a note of it in your diaries. The Service will be held in King’s College Chapel on Sunday 8 February 2015 at 11am. The Service will be conducted by Rev David Hutchinson, Assistant Chaplain to the University, with a message of goodwill from distinguished guest preacher Right Reverend John Chalmers, Moderator of the General Assembly of the Church of Scotland.
There will be a reception to follow in Linklater Rooms, University of Aberdeen.
