Standing together against hate - minute's silence to mark Auschwitz liberation

To mark the 75th Anniversary of the Liberation of Auschwitz in 1945, please join us as we 'Stand Together' as a diverse University of Aberdeen community against rising division and hate, to remember those who have been lost and to show our support to those in need, stressing our determination to withstand racism and all forms of prejudice, divisiveness, discrimination and exclusion.

Staff and students are encouraged to gather on the lawn in front of Elphinstone Hall at 10.55 am on Monday 27th January. We will be forming a circle and will hold a minute’s silence at 11am.

Teaching staff are welcome to make students aware of this event, and be aware that you may need to finish classes slightly earlier than normal to enable attendance at this event.
