Two candidates are standing for election to be our next Senior Governor, who leads our governing body University Court. See reminder about the role in our earlier welcome message
In alphabetical order, they are:
- June Boyle
- Christopher Morgan
You can read the candidates’ election statements and view their videos here.
You can hear from the candidates directly at a meeting open for all staff and students on 19 October at 2pm in the King’s Conference Centre.
If you would like to attend the open meeting in person, please register for a place by completing this form. Don’t worry if you can’t be there in person, there will be the option to join the meeting online and a recording will be made available afterward.
You will then be able to vote for your preferred candidate from 20 October to 27 October until 5pm. Staff, students and members of Court who are eligible to vote will receive an e-mail on Tuesday 20 October from CIVICA (who are administering the online voting platform for the University) with instructions on how to cast your vote for the person you feel is best qualified to lead Court.
Further information on the process is available via the University’s webpages and, prior to voting opening, this will be updated with the relevant FAQs.
Best wishes,
Christine
