Join a Unibuddy Community
New students can join a chat group in one of the University's Unibuddy communities. You will receive a link to join the communities in your new student emails from the University. Through Unibuddy you can join groups with other students who have similar interests or backgrounds as you. It is a great opportunity to start making friends and finding your community at the University.

When you join a Unibuddy community, please make sure you follow the rules. Be kind, no explicit language or content and no spamming.
Students are expected to follow the University's Code of Practice and Unibuddy's terms of use.

Guidelines for using Unibuddy:
- Keep your chats and posts friendly and safe for all
- Respect others
- Be careful in sharing your personal information with others
- Contact the moderators if anything seems suspicious or makes you uncomfortable
- Do not use explicit language or share explicit content
- No hate speech, racism, homophobia, bullying, aggression or harassment will be tolerated
- No inciting arguments
- No spamming or promotion
- No promoting of cruelty, violence, self-harm or suicide
- Do not invite people to join Unibuddy
