Make sure that you have already completed the required steps to register as a student. You must be fully registered and in Aberdeen ready to begin your studies by your registration deadline.
You don't have to be in Aberdeen to start the registration process - you can get started wherever you are, even if you are still waiting for your student visa. You will receive a series of emails letting you know when each stage of registration is available to you.
Registration must be completed before the registration deadline or you risk removal from your course. If you think you will be arriving late, please keep the Admissions team updated on your expected arrival date via the messaging function on CAS Shield.
Arriving after Welcome Week?
Welcome Week is 14 - 18 September 2026. It is recommended that you arrive in Aberdeen in time for Welcome Week so you can complete Registration, attend your School's Academic Induction and get involved with the events and activities happening throughout the week.
You are required to arrive by the registration deadline.
If you arrive late, or expect that you will arrive later than Welcome Week, please keep the Admissions team updated on your expected arrival date in Aberdeen via the messaging function on CAS Shield.
