Thank you for your patience while the Sir Duncan Rice Library has been hosting an external film production crew.
We are pleased to confirm the Library will reopen from 8:30am on Friday 14 August as planned. Normal access and operations will be in place, although there will be some ongoing noise disruption and around the Gallery and other exhibitions for a further few days.
Floor 2 will reopen on Thursday 20 August. Until then, group study is available on Floors 1 and 3, and access to Bloomberg & Refinitiv software is available in room F84 on the first floor of the Edward Wright Building.
For Thursday 13 August, alternative study space remains available in Taylor Library which will be open until 8pm, after which normal 9am to 5pm operating hours will be in place. For issues relating to University Collections and the Collections Research Room, please email collections@abdn.ac.uk
The Library car park will also reopen on Friday 14 August.
The disabled parking bays at the front and side of the building will however remain out of use until Tuesday, with alternative disabled parking spaces available at the rear of the Fraser Noble Building and the north end of the Sir Duncan Rice Library.
