Essential work will begin at both libraries on Monday 20 July. This will cause some noise disturbance in Sir Duncan Rice Library and the closure of Taylor Library.
The security gates at both libraries are being replaced.
The Sir Duncan Rice Library will remain open but there will be some noise disturbance. The work has been scheduled for this quieter period of the year to minimise disruption to services and resources.
Taylor Library will close 5.00pm, Friday 17 July and reopen 9.00am, Monday 27 July.
If anyone wishes to access books, journals or other physical items from the Taylor Library during this time, students and staff can email library@abdn.ac.uk with details of the material requested.
If requested before 1.00pm, items will be transferred to the Sir Duncan Rice Library where they can be picked up from Floor 1 Information Centre after 2.00pm on the same day. If requested after 1.00pm, the item will be available in the Sir Duncan Rice Library the following day after 2.00pm.
