You may be aware of our transformation programme Adapting for Continued Success where we are taking steps to reshape our university to better meet the needs of our students and society.
I am reaching out to let you know that we are entering the next phase of this programme which includes looking at our future staffing arrangements and opening an enhanced retirement and voluntary severance scheme within our Schools. We are creating capacity to invest in our campus, the student union and the wider student experience.
I am aware this may be a difficult and unsettling time. I want to assure you that these changes will not affect your ability to complete your studies.
