May is National Walking Month, the perfect opportunity to explore Aberdeen’s streets like never before with Nuart.
From eye-catching large-scale murals to hidden artistic gems, there are over 70 pieces of artwork waiting to be discovered across the city. How you explore them is entirely up to you - so connect your smart watch, get moving, and experience Aberdeen through art, all while boosting your daily activity.
Use the interactive Nuart map to find artwork locations across the city. The interactive map will allow you to select the pieces you’d most like to see and create your own personalised walking tour, guiding you along the route and even track how many kilometres you’ve walked. You can also download a map to help guide your journey.
If you're limited on time, you can still enjoy Nuart on Campus in the Cruickshank Botanic Gardens. A striking mural of a blackbird alongside the words “unheard, unseen.” This piece references poet and nature writer Nan Shepherd, one of the University’s first female graduates, perfect for a peaceful lunchtime walk.
