Description
While the level of award varies according to the funds available and the number of applicants, typically, the panel, comprising academics from a range of disciplines across the University, has been able to offer four awards of around £2,000-£3,000 each year.
Eligibility
All students graduating from the University of Aberdeen with an undergraduate degree in an Arts subject (MA or BMus qualification) in July 2025 aspiring to study at postgraduate level starting in September/October 2025 at an institution outside Scotland are eligible to apply.
Of particular interest will be applications from students who will undertake postgraduate studies abroad.
Applicants must be eligible to graduate from the University of Aberdeen in the year of application, and must be able to demonstrate that they have received and accepted an offer of postgraduate study at an institution outside Scotland.
Criteria
Postgraduate study must be undertaken at an institution outside Scotland. Of particular interest will be applications from students who will undertake postgraduate studies abroad.
