Volunteers are needed to take part in research aimed at uncovering how gut microbes found in faecal samples of healthy adults differ from those of patients with liver disease. This research will help improve understanding of the pivotal role of gut microbes in the development of liver diseases and support the design of new therapeutic options.
This study will require donation of one faecal sample.
Eligible participants:
- Healthy men and women
- Aged 18-70 years
- Normal weight range (BMI between 18-25 kg/m2)
- We require volunteers to have not taken antibiotics in the last one month
