Dear student,
Just a brief update on where we are so far with our programme - Adapting for Continued Success (ACS) - which will design and deliver new ways of working and enable our University to adapt to the changing world.
Currently our University consists of 12 Schools and part of ACS has involved considering several options as to how these are organised in the future. These are structural changes to how the University functions and will not affect your ongoing studies.
Decisions on any changes to the structure have not yet been taken, but whatever the outcome, be assured we will continue to deliver the same high quality student experience.
As part of our engagement with students, we’ve attended both the Student Council and the Student Union AGM to talk about ACS, and questionnaires have also been sent out.
We’ve also arranged a drop-in session for students with free ‘Big Manny’s’ pizza for the first 30 attendees – taking place at 4pm on Tuesday 2 December in the James Mackay Hall. Please come along to join the discussion and find out more.
Finally, we’ll be seeking your views in other ways including at workshops / focus groups in January.
We’ll keep you updated.
