The Students' Union and Arabic Conversation Group collaboratively hosted a Community Cafe for Iftar on 27 March.
The event was open to all, whether fasting or not. This creating an inclusive and welcoming space for students and staff to come together. Attendees enjoyed a diverse selection of homemade dishes prepared by staff and students, fostering a sense of community and cultural exchange. Prayer rooms were also available for those who wished to use them.
More than 50 people attended the event, sharing in the joy of international cuisine and meaningful conversations whilst enjoying Arabic music and the festive atmosphere.
