Lift off for new Masters in Planetary Sciences

The University has launched an exciting new Master’s programme designed to prepare students with a science or engineering background for a career in the UK’s rapidly expanding space sector. The MSc Planetary Sciences is delivered by the team behind the HABIT instrument, which will be sent to Mars in 2022 as part of the ExoMars mission, and covers everything from planetary atmospheres and landforms, to remote sensing, data analysis, astrobiology and space systems engineering and instrumentation.

Applications are now open to commence in September 2021 or January 2022. University of Aberdeen students can qualify for the University’s graduate discount scheme.
