E-Learning @ SINAPSE

SINAPSE (the Scottish Imaging Network) provide an excellent series of 10 e-learning modules.

These modules are available for a modest cost and explain in non-technical ways how medical imaging techniques work and what they can be used for.

Volunteering for an MRI Scan

We often need healthy volunteers or participants with particular conditions or symptoms for a wide range of imaging studies. These studies will have been approved by local ethics committees.

You will have to undertake safety and exclusion criteria screening before being scanned but in particular we cannot scan anyone with a pacemaker or some types of metal implants.
