Biography

Turan Mutallimov is an experienced Petroleum Engineering scientist with a combined background and track record in academia and industry, including geology, petroleum engineering, and petrophysics. Specialize on Biodiversity for petroleum engineering and geosciences applications, integrating multi-scale reservoir properties, numerical simulation, EOR, reservoir characterization and modeling. Experience includes working for oil and gas producing companies, and academia, acting as technical lead on research and development projects, mentoring students.

Education:

  • PhD in Petroleum Engineering at the University of Aberdeen, UK, continue 
  • MSc in Offshore Engineering from the University of Bologna, Italy, 2021.
  • BSc in Oil and Gas Engineering from Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, Azerbaijan, 2019
