Job opportunity: Researcher in seafood sustainability, traceability & labelling

The School of Geosciences (Geography) is currently advertising for a Postdoctoral Research Assistant / Fellow. The purpose of the post is to manage and deliver the requirements of an international European research project into seafood sustainability, traceability and labelling in the Atlantic region (SEA-TRACES). The post will support the lead investigator in the delivery of the work package focused on consumer perspectives and engagement and includes designing an international consumer survey, organising an international workshop and engaging with the other partners in the project.

The prospective candidate for this position should have general experience in marine social science with specific interest in seafood consumer analysis, traceability and labelling, eco-certification schemes and seafood policy. Expertise in large scale survey design and analysis is essential. It is expected that the candidate will have a PhD in a related topic to the above themes.
