12th Symposium (2021)

12th Symposium (2021)

We would like to welcome you to the 12th Engineering Postgraduate Research Webinar Symposium on Wednesday 14th and 21st of April 2021.

The EPRS is an annual event, taking the form of a conference, in which all engineering postgraduate students at the university are given the opportunity to present their research work. Its aim is to exhibit the level and quality of research work currently being undertaken within the School of Engineering, as well as to provide an interesting experience and liaising opportunity for an audience combining students, members of academia, and industry practitioners.

Due to continuing social distancing guidelines the conference will be held virtually in a similar format to the 11th Engineering Postgraduate Research Symposium in 2020. The exact format is still under consideration but each sessions will feature both live webinar presentations and a recorded poster sessions. Cash prizes will be awarded for the best poster and oral presentations.

The symposium brings together the five diverse fields of research;

Mechanics of Fluids, Soils and Structures

Chemical and Material Engineering

Theoretical and Applied Mechanics

Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering
