Welcome Week takes place 17 to 21 January 2022, the week before teaching starts. It is all about helping you settle in and prepare for your academic and non-academic university life. Your participation in Welcome Week is a key part of your preparations for university as well as having fun, getting to know campus and your fellow students there are certain elements such as completing Orientation and taking part in your academic induction.
Don't miss the events and activities that we've planned to help you adjust to university life.
It is a chance for you to learn everything you need to know for a successful transition and to help you settle in and explore the campus. It includes faires and events run by our various student support services, fellow students, the Students’ Association and more.

Our Student Panel is made up of current students who will speak about all things University including societies, extracurriculars, international experience, working while studying and more! Get tips & advice on how to settle in, the best places to go in town and learn how you can get the most of your time at UoA! At the end of the session, you can pose your own questions to the panel.
