Suicide Awareness

The Suicide Safe University Commitment aims to minimise the risk and wide-reaching impact of suicide within the University community through prevention and awareness, Intervention and Postvention.

Suicide can impact anyone, at any time in their life, however there are groups which are most vulnerable; and students are at greater risk when compared to the general population, as referenced in the Scottish Suicide prevention strategy (2022 - 2032).

Take the first step today by developing your awareness around the topic of suicide and how we all have a part to play in prevention.
