Join Aberdeen Climate Action's 89th Climate Café for a thought-provoking discussion on sustainability from an economic perspective, featuring expert speakers.

Join Aberdeen Climate Action for the 89th free monthly Climate Café, where they'll explore economic perspectives on sustainability and the climate crisis. This hybrid event features three engaging speakers, each presenting a 15-minute talk followed by an audience Q&A.

Speakers:

Professor Ken Thomson, formerly from the University of Aberdeen will offer "A Conventional Economist's View". William Thomson, a political economist and founder of Scotonomics will offer "The Macroeconomic framing of sustainability".  Vinishree Solanki from Doughnut Economics Network Scotland will talk on the "Doughnut Economics Network Scotland" and give examples of how doughnut economics is being used in decision-making in the country. 

Come along from 6.30pm for a relaxed start with drinks and socialising before the event officially begins at 7pm.
