This talk is aimed at all those interested in the fast stream recruitment or working in the civil service in general

This talk is aimed at all those interested in the fast stream recruitment or working in the civil service in general. This will be focussed on the Economist experience but the fast stream recruitment is the same for all professions save for the final scheme specific test, with many of the stages also being applicable for general civil service recruitment and so should be of interest to anyone looking for a career in the Civil Service.

The talk will cover:

  • Overview of the Civil Service
  • Experience of the Civil Service and the work
  • The recruitment process, both for the fast stream but for those interested also the mainstream (the main alternative recruitment method for economists).
  • Q&A

Applications for the Civil Service Fast Stream close at mid-day on the 9th of November: Home | Civil Service Fast Stream

This talk will be recorded to be shared after, however, the Q&A will not be recorded.
