Studying Abroad

Studying Abroad

Spending a half session or academic year studying abroad at one of the University of Aberdeen’s study exchange partner universities around the world will give your degree added value. It will also enable you to widen and deepen your subject knowledge and potentially develop language skills whilst living in a different culture. The Study Exchange programme equips students with an unrivalled range of skills, in addition to their understanding of the biological world, which is greatly valued by employers.

Students studying a degree within the School of Biological Sciences can apply to study abroad for all or part of second year and all or part of third year.

Find out more about Studying Abroad during your degree from the Go Abroad Team. The Go Abroad webpages include information about; the different partners universities available to study at, costs and funding and how and when students can apply. You can also discuss the Study Abroad Programme with the School of Biological Sciences’ Go Abroad Tutors.

Other options to work or spend shorter periods abroad (during the summer break) are available to students, information on these options is also available on the Go Abroad Webpages.
