Fast Field Cycling Magnetic Resonance Imaging (FFC-MRI)

Fast Field Cycling Magnetic Resonance Imaging (FFC-MRI)

This is to support the Fast Field Cycling project for the build and installation of a clinically certified fast field cycling MRI scanner in the Lilian Sutton Building at Foresterhill, and a project-based element to promote and support clinical research studies to use this new scanner. We want to fund consultant time to address gaps in internal expertise that are essential components of the project. Names of suitable consultants are being sourced from our networks and contacts. Two consultants are required, one to ensure that the instrument meets the clinical certification requirements of medical devices sufficient for MHRA recognition and the second to provide advice on writing software for medical devices to be certified and how to do this using open-source software.
