Student Counselling Helpline
Our Student Helpline is available 24 hours a day and offers free-of-charge and immediate emotional support. If you are feeling overwhelmed or are experiencing a difficult personal issue, you can speak directly to a counsellor at any time by phone or text, using these contact details:

The Spectrum Life service can be accessed by visiting universityofaberdeen.spectrum.life. You can create an account, using institutional code ABERDEEN and access the online chat facility where you can speak to a counsellor online 24 hours a day.

Preparing for winter and possible power cuts
Recent bad weather has shown the impact loss of power can have on community. With the National Grid suggesting planned power cuts may be needed early next year, there are steps you can take to be ready for winter and any possible power outages. See our winter planning advice
