Are you interested in a career in forensic psychology or policing? Join us for an engaging panel event featuring professionals working across the criminal justice system, including Chartered Forensic Psychologists, Police Scotland officers, a Specialist in Forensic Video Identification, a Detective Inspector working in child protection, and a Forensic Psychologist from the Scottish Prison Service. Together, they will share insights into their career paths, the realities of their work, and the challenges and rewards of working in these fields.
The event will start sharply at 2pm with two Clinical Forensic Psychologists working in England and Scotland who will join us online. The rest of the in-person event will follow the journey of an investigation: beginning with frontline policing through specialist investigative roles such as forensic video identification and child protection and concluding with perspectives from forensic psychology within the prison system.
