Work-based Projects in the Taught Postgraduate Curriculum

Work-based Projects in the Taught Postgraduate Curriculum
-

This is a past event

This session will provide an opportunity to learn about work-based projects in the taught postgraduate curriculum and the support available to both staff and students as we move on from the MMM project.

Funded by the SFC, the Making the Most of Masters (MMM) project aimed to embed work-based learning in the taught postgraduate curriculum through work-based projects in lieu of the traditional University-based dissertation.

A considerable resource and body of expertise was developed by the MMM partners, the Universities of Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Stirling.  Dr Lucia D’Ambruoso, MSc Global Health and Management Programme Coordinator will present her experience of embedding work-based projects in the curriculum in close collaboration with the Careers Service. This will be followed by a Q&A session around work-based projects.

To register for the event please email Wendy Rudland, Work-based Project Coordinator by Wednesday 2 December.

Feel free to bring your own lunch and we'll provide the tea and coffee.
