The Art Exhibitions were part of their final project for an Honours Course in Spanish and Latin American Studies
The new course titled De / Anti / Post: Colonialism and Art in Spain and Latin America was coordinated by Dr Barbara Barreiro Leon and Dr Rodrigo Lopez. Students had to create an imaginary exhibition that would challenge colonialism and restructure art in a global context.
Students created exhibitions on themes like Resistance through paintings, Music as Oral History, History of Latin American Art, and Social Justice.
