Our level 2 student Fran Moldaschl has just been awarded the Kelpies Prize for Writing.
We are very proud to share the news that our level 2 student Fran Moldaschl (joint honours Celtic & Anglo-Saxon Studies with Archaeology) has won the Kelpies Prize for Writing for her novel for older children "When the Giants Passed Through", set in a fictional early Anglo-Saxon England. Fran is currently reworking her draft after taking our level 1 modules 'Songs, Myths and Hero-Tales' and 'Lost Gods and Hidden Monsters of the Celtic and Germanic Middle Ages'. The Kelpies Prize winners for writing and illustration were announced by Maisie Chan at an award ceremony on Thursday 1 September at the Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh.
