Research

Research Overview

I am interested in the biology of nematodes, with a particular interest in parasitic species.  I collaborate with Dr Jonathan Pettitt and Dr Berndt Muller to investigate the mechanism of spliced-leader trans-splicing in nematodes and with a view to exploting this as a target for novel anthelminthics. More information on specific projects can be found at The Aberdeen Worm Lab (https://www.aberdeenwormlab.org/).
