TOPS: Technology to support Older Adults' Personal and Social Interaction

New technologies to support older people at home: maximising personal and social interaction.

Dates:

01/11/2010 to 31/10/2013

Overview:

This project addresses the role of user interface technology for older adults experiencing chronic pain in the context of personal and social interactions.

It provides the opportunity for joint working between the SiDE Digital Economy Research Hub and the dot.rural, with involvement from geography and HERU within UoA, UHI Millennium Institute and Institute of Rural Health in Wales.

It is anticipated that NHS Highland, NHS Wales (Powys), an NHS organisation in England and a commercial telehealth/telecare provider (e.g. Tunstall UK) may partner in the project.
