Dr Andrea Woolner was delighted to share some of the findings from the PASTeL studies (Pregnancy After Second Trimester pregnancy Loss) which she leads in collaboration with Professor Alexander Heazell at the University of Manchester. Their work was presented at the Association of Early Pregnancy Units (AEPU) conference on 13/14 November in Glasgow. The research is focused on understanding second trimester pregnancy loss, investigating the outcomes for pregnancies which follow and understanding what the current healthcare provisions are. This research is funded by the Tommy's Pregnancy and Baby Loss charity.
