A new edition of the Sage Handbook of Health Psychology has just been published, and colleagues Chantal Den Daas, Marie Johnston and Diane Dixon from our Health Psychology team have contributed to two chapters. This second edition of the handbook is focused on the foundational contexts, theories, and methods that underpin health psychology today – a must for postgraduate students, researchers, and practitioners, the Handbook offers a comprehensive overview of the current state of research and knowledge in health psychology. Our team contributed a methodology focused Chapter, exploring measurement of variables in health Psychology. In addition, they lead the Chapter on behaviour in the prevention of communicable diseases show casing some of their work on Covid-19 and sexual health.
