Regular Giving

Regular Giving

Regular Gifts = Bigger Impact

When you make a regular gift through the University of Aberdeen Development Trust SCIO, you’ll be joining over 650 alumni and friends of the University who together are helping offer the best in education, research and extra-curricular activities.

Regular giving is an effective way to spread the cost of your donation throughout the year. But it also helps us to plan for the future, as your donations will be ringfenced to the cause that is most important to you.

This could mean that you are ensuring disadvantaged students will be supported each year, and if emergencies happen, you’ll enable us to direct money directly to students in need, so they can stay focused on their studies.

Or you could be helping ensure that our researchers can look to the future and find the best treatments and diagnosis techniques for illnesses such as cancer, Alzheimer’s and cardiovascular disease.

  • £10 per month could supply a PhD student with PPE so they can complete their project on cancer cell growth
  • £20 per month could help to provide training for student volunteers working at the Nightline listening service
  • £40 per month could help towards the cost of moving to Aberdeen for a student who has no parental support
  • £100 per month could pay towards a scholarship for a student from a disadvantaged background

You can make a regular gift via Direct Debit here, or speak to your Payroll department about payroll giving, which helps to make your money go further. Whatever you want to support, giving monthly, quarterly, or annually will help us to plan for the future and ensure the best in student support, education and research for generations to come.
