Are you interested in fundraising for your University? Did you know that as a student at the University of Aberdeen there’s lots of ways you can get involved through the University of Aberdeen Development Trust SCIO.
Community Fundraising
Get together with your friends and/or join a society like Run for Refugees and fundraise for a cause that you are passionate about while having great fun! This year we were ecstatic when 13 medical students from the Medical Society took on an incredible 24 hour 3 peaks challenge raising over £4,000 to support cancer research at the University of Aberdeen.
Student callers
Do you enjoy speaking to people and earning money? The University of Aberdeen Development Trust SCIO regularly hires a team of students to take part in our annual telephone appeal to connect with alumni, raise awareness of what’s happening and give alumni the opportunity to support the University. Since 1998, our student callers have helped raise over £2.6 million to improve the student experience.
Volunteering
Throughout the year we hold events to thank our donors and update them on the impact of their support, as well as organising fundraising events like Run Balmoral. We are always looking for extra hands and would welcome support from anyone who wants to get involved, gain new experiences and have fun.
