About the speakers

Professor Ernest Edmonds is an internationally recognised pioneer of digital art and practice-based research. His work has helped shape both digital art and human-computer interaction, and in 2017 he received two ACM Lifetime Achievement Awards recognising his outstanding contributions to these fields. He is Emeritus Professor at De Montfort University.

Dr Linda Candy is a leading researcher in practice-based research and the creative arts. She has written and co-edited a number of influential books, including The Creative Reflective Practitioner, and co-founded the Creativity and Cognition Symposia. Her work brings together art, technology and research, encouraging collaboration across disciplines.
