27 - 29 May 2025, Aberdeen, Scotland
The University of Aberdeen is delighted to be able to invite you to attend PCST 2025. The conference theme will seek to explore transitions (change versus stability), traditions (the old, current and the new) and tensions (dispute versus consensus) that influence all of our work as science communicators.
In this context of our climate emergency, of global health imperatives, such as food and water security, and poverty alleviation PCST will come together in 2025 to discuss science communication can and should be used to positive effect in our changing world.
Registration is open and the Early Bird and the Deadline for Authors to confirm their place in the schedule has now passed. You are still able to register to join us - or to add Workshops and Optional Social Events to your existing booking.

Bursaries have now been allocated - thanks go to all contributors: Wellcome, the Kavli Foundation, the 2023 PCST Conference in Rotterrdam and of course - all of those who 'paid it forward' - every little helps. If you want to find out more about the selection process you can view our PCST 2025 Bursary Report
We had a fantastic response to the call for abstracts - with well over 700 submissions! Our team of reviewers are now hard at work considering the submissions and the Programme Committee are primed to spring into action to consider the reviewers' comments and recommendations before we can confirm with authors the outcomes for each submission - bear with us - its a huge task!!
Some of our scientific committee and local organising team embarked on a action packed site visit to Aberdeen in preparation for the upcoming PCST Science Communication Conference, scheduled for May 27-29, 2025.
